Component Web Services to Deliver Robust Web 2.0 Platform for World’s Leading Management Accounting Association

Fairfield, NJ, October 1, 2008 – Component Web Services (CWS), LLC has been selected by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA^®) to spearhead the creation of a new Web 2.0 infrastructure that will serve as the cornerstone of the organization’s marketing, education, and communication efforts.

Serving a network of about 60,000 members, IMA is the world’s leading association serving finance and accounting professionals who work inside organizations. The organization’s website (www.imanet.org) serves as its primary communication vehicle for current and prospective members, providing access to proprietary information and driving new member acquisition across the globe.

IMA’s current website includes more than 500 pages of content and 1,400 PDF attachments. With new content organization, CWS expects the project to be complete in the next 10 to 12 months.

According to CWS President & CEO Kevin Kimmel, “The design and development of this Web 2.0 platform will streamline IMA’s ability to deliver content, services, and products to the organization’s members. The feature-rich tools and modules planned for the site will include RSS feeds, blogs, user forums, and multilingual content integration, all within an intuitive content management system.”
